Welcome to the Lew Family Blog

As many of you know, we had a house fire on April 15, 2008. We are starting this page to keep friends and family updated whenever we have news and information to share. Here is what is going on so far:

* Logan and Cayden are back in school and are doing well. We are trying to encourage their usual routine as much as possible.

* Zoey the dog has received a clean bill of health from the vet. She is currently staying with our neighbor, Kristen.

* We are staying with family and are planning to start apartment hunting soon.

Many of you have been asking about ways in which you can lend a hand. We are grateful for your support and will post information soon regarding our specific areas of need.

Please feel free to leave a comment below to let us know you stopped by!

Jen,

I'm so sorry for your loss. Is it repairable or a total loss? I don't have any boys clothes. Please let me know if there is anything I can do. Missed you at Bunco last week.
Take Care,
Kathy

Dear John and Jen,
There is a family at The Chapel that have 2 boys about the same age as Logan and Caden. They would like to help you out with clothes if they can. What size do your boys wear? Is there anything specific they need?
God Bless,
Sam and Jen

Hi Lews...
It's Miss Krista...Logan's preschool teacher from years back. I saw the link on the Bailey's blog...and was shocked to put it all together.

I am so sorry...I can't imagine. I am just so grateful that all of you are fine.

I will defintely be checking in and seeing if there is anything I can do...

Again...so sorry...prayers for peace and that the whole insurance/clean up goes smoothly...as smoothly as possible

Hi Jenny,
I sent an email, but heard you weren't getting them. I just wanted you to know that we are praying for you here at the center and that our hearts go out to you. People have been asking what they can do to help. I will be watching this blog for suggestions.

Ranetta called this morning to let you know that Trinity Episcopal Church is having a yard sale today (8-4) and tomorrow (8-2) and they will provide you with anything you need at the sale if you would like to check it out. She said that you just need to introduce yourself.

I am praying you will know God's great love and compassion at a depth never before experienced.

In His love,
Jana

Jenny-
I'm so sorry to hear about your house. Was it a total loss? Let me know if I can have my family do anything for you since I'm a ways away. I'm sure they would love to help in any way that they can...Food, clothes, personal items, etc. Let me know.

May God bless you and your family as you transition and come closer to him. I know this is devastating.
You are in our thoughts and prayers. Please keep us posted on how we can help!

Jenny,

I just wanted to let you know that if you decide to go to Aspen on Friday, I would be more than happy to pick you up. Im not sure what the situation is with your cars. Also, Briana and Caitlin will be home from school on Friday. Dave will be home with them. If you need help with the boys, Dave would be happy to have them over to play with the girls. Just let us know. Your in our thoughts and prayers. Love, Dave and Ginny
